Medium to deep ruby-red nuance here. The nose is displaying some dried fruit, black currant leaf, dark plum, some liquorice, some medical herbs. No oak present. The palate has medium weight, quite a high extract appearing a bit tannic at present. There are some peppery notes, fresh green herbs, some liquorice, anise seed. It appears youthful in texture, but the fruit is more towards the dried fruit; like dried black currant, prune. At present, it appears a bit young, with a slightly drying finish. So it should probably deserve some more time to gain roundness and more weight.

Tasted by the Best Sommelier of the World, Andreas Larsson.
