Very dark almost opaque colour. Sweet ripe fruit, blackberry, crème de cassis, aniseed and ginger. Dense palate, rather high extraction with grippy tannin, fresh acidity and youthful crushed fruit flavours, tobacco and spice notes with a long finish, fine material, still a bit restrained needing a few more years to open.
