Lackner Tinnacher – Sauvignon Blanc Ried Welles 2013 – Südsteiermark

Youthful, pale colour, bright, medium deep straw. Slight green hue. Fresh and pure nose, indicating youth. There is a lot of green in here. Not in a negative way but very much of grape, fresh grapes, lime, ripe herbs, gooseberry, green apple. Good freshness and bite. Classically dry. Medium weight, with a still youthful and restrained touch of fruit, with barley ripe green apple, spiced up with soeme herbs, light zest. Fresh salivating, juicy acidity, with a medium towards long finish. Very enjoyable today for its crispness, but it should develop complexity from another few years in a good cellar.
