Developed colour with a moderate ruby-red core, slightly tawny towards the rim. Fine nose, with a certain evolution, not a lot of primary fruit here. Very elegant fruit though, like sweet red berries, with fine spices, some discreet wood, a hint of cedar wood, tobacco; a dash of complexity already. Very nice palate, it has a good density, good weight, with very powdery tannins, finely integrated. It’s a wine already with a certain stage of maturity; beyond that primary fruit, it’s offering those juicy red berries, grainy tannin, mild spiciness, well-integrated wood. It’s more of a traditional style, well made, with a quite silky texture on the finish. Long finish – very long finish actually. Very coherent, with that sweet fruit, those mild spices all along. A wine with good character and style, and complexity.

Tasted by the Best Sommelier of the World, Andreas Larsson.
