Bright colour, medium straw. Bubbles are quite fine, lively but with some maturity it seems. Pure nose, quite generous. Displaying quite rich fruitiness. With notes of ripe pear, some fresh berries, some lemony notes. There are also some autolytic notes from the ageing on the lees. With some toast, some butter. Palate is classically dry with a good level of freshness, so quite bright acidity. Rather dry style, not a lot of dosage I would say. It starts out with those fresh hints of citrus and lime. On the finish, I get a bit more of that toastiness, that nuttiness and some slightly sweeter fruit like ripe pear and plum. Good integration of the mousse, adds a quite creamy texture to it. Long and refreshing finish. Drinks well now, but should have the potential to go on for the coming few years.

Tasted by the Best Sommelier of the World, Andreas Larsson.
