Very dark and inky colour, impenetrable with a dark purple core. High viscosity. Intense nose, floral with violet. Inky dark fruit like blackberry, black cherry and plum. Quite modern style here. Fair amount of new oak as well. Very dense on the palate. High concentration, high extraction. So plenty of tannin, with that dark inky fruit. Fair amount of that new oak as well. So really full-bodied, very dense. Long and persistent. I suppose this is a wine that will become very good in the coming few years. Today it is a bit more lithic, with that high level of extract and density. I would say, extract is fine, it is not harsh. It is just a lot of everything. I would say, a wine with very fine potential but it should deserve another two to three years in a good cellar.

Tasted by the Best Sommelier of the World, Andreas Larsson.
