Youthful appearance here, very blue-purple with a quite dense colour intensity. Quite intense nose, combining floral and dark fruity notes. So violet, blackberry, also with some spicy notes reminiscent of liquorice, anise seed. Quite discreet wood. Quite full-bodied on the palate. Still appearing youthful, but the tannins are quite mellow, yet present. Fresh acidity as well. Giving a lift to that dark, floral, purple fruit; such as blackberry, dark plum. Persistent as well. Good length. A wine that is still very youthful, but it should certainly have the potential to go on for quite a few years. I would already call it pretty drinkable, because I like that attractive combination of dark fruit and fresh acidity. I pick up a little bit more oak on the finish now, but it is already well integrated. Finely balanced example with fine character.

Tasted by the Best Sommelier of the World, Andreas Larsson.
