The colour indicates some evolution here, it’s medium-ruby with a slightly watery rim. The nose is really perfumed, showing off rose petal, sweet red berries, very mild spices. Very intense, with a hint of sexiness. The palate confirms the nose very nicely, it’s very silky now, rounded with an unctuous texture. It keeps within the medium-bodied frame, showing off that sweet red fruit, almost some sweet apricot with those red berries there, finely ground mild spices. Perfectly balanced now, I think all the parts are in place, tannin and acidity well in place, adding a lift to that sweet fruit. No noticeable oak. Of course another dimension of spiciness that has emerged with a certain evolution. Long and colourful finish, good nuance, good layers, very gastronomic, something that makes me fantasise about a nice pigeon with truffles or anything from the classic cuisine repertoire. Very nice wine.
