Red wine with a fairly high colour intensity, dark ruby-red. There is a fine nose. I like this spiciness very much. Freshly ground black pepper, some sweet spiciness of clove and a certain presence of minerality as well. Some stony notes with ripe dark fruit such as blackberry, dark plum, very fine hint of oak in the background. Quite tempting actually. I like this a lot. It is a good density here, high concentration of fruit. Inky dark berries like blackberry and plum. Fine spiciness; anise seed, black pepper. Very nice level of acidity. The tannins are still youthful but well rounded, giving a good lift and contributing to the length. Really long lasting and persistent with fine layers. It is still a youthful wine and I am convinced this will gain a lot of complexity over the years. A really fine example, I think combining this ripeness of fruit with spiciness and freshness. No, really good.
