Ignorante Wines – Reserva 2014 – Dão

Medium deep colour intensity here, ruby-red. Pure and fresh nose. With some hints of red berry fruit, fresh almond, slight nuttiness, sweet plum. Good juiciness on the palate. It is obviously a very youthful wine, but I think it is a subtle vinification here. So there is not a lot of tannic sensation. Rather juicy with those freshly crushed red and dark berries. Fine spiciness on the finish. Quite long within that medium body frame. Really attractive and subtle. Drink it today, but it should certainly develop some more complexity and nuance in the coming four to five years.
