The colour is approaching light golden, but with a good brightness. Still with a hint of green hue. Good purity on the nose here. Slightly stony and flinty. The fruit character is quite on the tropical side. We have ripe yellow fruit here, with hints of yellow plum and apricot. Lemon, lime, some of that spicy ginger, pepper notes. Very juicy palate here. I think this is nicely combining a quite high level of ripeness, with more mango, pineapple emerging on the palate. It is underlined by a very bright acidity. Good presence of minerality as well. Fine extract there. Some hints of grated lime, lemon and ginger. It gives a lot of zest on the palate. Long and lingering finish, still a youthful wine that should certainly develop over the coming ten, twelve, fifteen years. I very much like it now for its bright freshness. Considering the vintage it does have a lot of fruit and substance already.
