Dark ruby red colour. Pure and aromatic nose combining dark fruit with cassis, plum, fine oak and a herbal spiciness of sage and mint. Full bodied and dense palate, a firm tannic backbone but no hard edges, some roasted oak, cassis and dark berry flavours, fine spiciness with aromatic herbs and a long dense finish. A wine with good purity structured for long ageing.
