The colour looks quite youthful, it still has a lot of purple hue. Moderate colour intensity, still transparent. Quite attractive nose here. Primary fruit with some hints of violet, fresh blackberry, with some pepper and clove. Good purity, no indication of oakiness. I like this palate. Nice clarity of fruit here. Those fresh berry notes with a lot of spiciness. Quite multi-layered with pepper, clove, liquorice on the finish. Nice dark fruit, yet with a good level of acidity. Balanced tannin. It still tastes like a very youthful and fresh wine. It offers a great drinkability. The oak is not noticeable but the extract is really in check. There is a fine degree of tannin in there. I would call this very digest and juicy. Once again I think that drinkability is something we all look for in good wine. Very attractive fruit, good expression. Obviously, it should have, I mean it stays within the frame of medium weight. Quite long finish, but really a pleasurable and enjoyable wine.

Tasted by the Best Sommelier of the World, Andreas Larsson.
