Young pale colour, a slight touch of green, pale straw yellow. Intense nose, very aromatic, showing off a hint of oak, really ripe yellow fruit, like apricot, plum. There’s also a slight herbal presence, like fresh herbs, but ripe herbs – not green in any way. Good bite on the palate; crisp acidity, yet balanced by that rather opulent fruit, rich and generous with tropical fruit and a quite almost creamy texture, despite that fresh acidity that gives a lift. There might be a touch of oak there, it’s not super obvious but still we have some more nutty notes being present there. It feels almost Sauvignon style, but quite ripe, like an aromatic variety. I think it’s well balanced, combining that luscious fruit with a youthful and crisp acidity, and it has a rather long persistence. Clean and well-made.
