Red wine with a very deep core, also appearing fairly youthful towards the rim, quite dark ruby there as well. Quite intense nose here, displaying some floral notes, violet, rose petals, there is also some leafy and herbal notes; like bay leaf and sage. The fruitiness is rather very sweet plum, some crushed berries as well. Warm and ripe palate, quite full bodied there, with still a youthful texture I would say. We still have a tannic presence here with layers of ripe and sweet fruit. There is some oak present as well, much more than on the nose. I get some clear hints of vanilla, slight hint of wood here. Quite rounded and plush on the mid-palate here, quite approachable. I still think that this would benefit from more ageing, for the last tannins to round off a little bit. Fairly long finish. So a quite charming and opulent wine.
