Inky dark purple colour. Modern nose, youthful dark fruit with cassis, plum, blackberry with toasted notes, coffee, new oak and sweet spices. Dense palate, still youthful with generous amounts of oak, yet with good layers of ripe dark fruit, ripe tannin, a fine acidity underneath, dense and chewy finish with good persistency. Still a bit young with pronounced oak but ambitious and should develop well.
