Inky dark purple core and hue. Generous new oak on the nose, roasted and spicy with crème de cassis, cherry and liquorice notes. Dense, modern and chewy palate with layers of unctuous dark fruit, plenty of young tannin, still a marked oak presence but nice fruit, structure and length.
