Dark core, ruby red, slightly lighter toward the rim; some evolution. Very fine evolution on the nose; intense fruit there. Some notes of black truffle, some earthy notes. A lot of spiciness going on, some meaty hints and sweet ripe fruit, particularly blackberry. Very attractive. Nice palate, with a good density of fruit, with perfectly integrated tannins now. Really rounded, with some notes of chocolate, dark chocolate, fine spices. Very juicy, offering quite ripe fruit, what feels like plenty of ripe fruit, but perfectly underlined by a fresh acidity. Very consistent on the finish, tannins are integrated, oak is integrated, attractive sweet fruit, long finish. Perfect drinkability. It’s a wine obviously with the density and structure to keep going on for many years in a good cellar but I would call this perfectly drinkable today. Nice and generous wine, still with a good degree of complexity. Enjoy!
