Medium towards deep ruby red, some evolution, not super young. The nose starts out quite discreetly, offering some floral notes, red berries, violet, mild spices. Palate is quite rounded, it has a medium weight, a little bit more; it has a warm, quite unctuous texture, round, with attractive juicy fruit, freshly crushed berries, a good mix of red and dark berries. Quite persistent on the finish, with some spicy notes. Not really any noticeable oak. Another example that feels like it’s from a quite warm and sunny climate, with that warm and sweet fruit; but well balanced by acidity and tannin. Keeps lingering. Fine usage of oak as well. Perfectly drinkable now, still with enough density and concentration to age it for another few years in the cellar.

Tasted by the Best Sommelier of the World, Andreas Larsson.
