Quite youthful colour here, dense ruby-red with a purple hue. Fresh nose, quite modern style I would say with some roasted oak. Fruit is much more on the darker ruby side. High ripeness with cassis, dark plum, cherry, the usual stuff. With a certain pepperiness, certain meatiness well. Palate is quite full. Sits somewhere between that medium and full more towards the full I would say. It is underlined by a good level of acidity. There are plenty of young tannin, still a youthful bite to it but nothing harsh or edgy. Juicy fruit. Good length, well built. I would say already approachable but should certainly improve over the coming three to four years and then keep for another ten years. So a fine example.

Tasted by the Best Sommelier of the World, Andreas Larsson.
