Bright colour, just boarding light golden. Very intense nose here, starting out with a certain spiciness. It certainly resembles a Gewurztraminer, due to those dried spices. There are some floral notes like rose petal and quite lush yellow fruit. Then the dried spices like cardamom, some peppery notes. Quite attractive. So very spicy, but yet with a good sensation of freshness, due to the vibrant fruit. It is bone-dry, quite full-bodied. It has a good extract. I like that dried spiciness, it adds a dimension. Still on the palate, we have that nice yellow fruit, but it is really underlined by a very vibrant and crisp acidity. Those dried spices lingering on the finish. Without knowing exactly what it is, I would still go in the direction of the Gewurztraminer spiciness, but must fresher and classically bone-dry then the Alsace counterparts, I would say. So a very interesting wine. Still youthful, but good level of drinkability today. Should keep over the coming few years.
