Medium deep ruby-red core. Still transparent, though, leaning towards orange at the rim. Fairly youthful nose. It is still showing primary fruit, with a lot of floral notes, some rose petal, violet. Fresh red berries such as cherry, raspberry. With some mild spiciness, ginger, with white pepper. Quite discreet oak if any. Really good bite on the palate. Still pretty youthful. None the less, quite tempting. Sure there is a good presence of tannin there. Quite a high extract but I think that is part of the style. The tannins are ripe. It should easily start to soften within the coming few years. Very attractive juicy red fruit with cherry, raspberry. That mild spiciness on the top of it. Very long and lingering finish. Quite layered with a lot of things going on. Yeah, lots of spiciness and elegant sweet fruit. Really leaving your palate salivating. Good mouth-watering sensation. A wine that is young, but I would say it is already approaching complexity. So multi-layered and obviously a wine with a great potential for the cellar.
