Dense purple core. Finely roasted nose with some meaty notes, dry spices and ripe dark fruit like plum and blackberry. The palate is dense and concentrated with good proportions, ripe tannin a fresh and nervy acidity with crunchy dark fruit, finely underlined by new oak and a meaty spiciness, and a rich, dense and long finish. Powerful, fresh and balanced with an approaching complexity.
