Medium deep ruby colour with some development on the rim. The nose is developed with some complexity and fine intensity, slightly smoky with oak, vanilla and sweet red fruit and some spicy aniseed, liquorice notes. The palate shows a medium body with some maturity and complexity, spicy with sweet fruit. Still a presence of oak and a long finish, should still improve but drinks rather well today.
