Finca La Emperatriz – Terruño 2012 – Rioja

Medium deep ruby red with a lighter rim. Fine nose, good intensity with a fine mix of roasted oak, red and dark berries, ginger, pepper and clove. The palate has a good concentration, ripe tannin and modern dark fruit with a fine spiciness, well integrated acidity and fine oak, the finish is long, lush and ripe, a well-made modern wine, still youthful but with fine potential indeed.
