Very dark and inky colour, black-purple core. Medium intense nose. Still appearing rather youthful. With some dark fruity notes, blackberry, plum, cassis. With discreet oak, some roasted notes. Some hints of spices, such as black pepper. The palate is quite full, with high density, concentrated fruit. Appearing slightly tannic at present, so plenty of extract in here. A bit angular on the palate. Still far too young in my mind. There are layers of black fruit there, but still appears a bit youthful and closed with medium towards long finish. Still slightly dominated by tannin. Definitely a wine that should deserve a few more years of cellaring.

Tasted by the Best Sommelier of the World, Andreas Larsson.
