Red wine with a quite light colour intensity here. It looks like it has gotten some evolution as it is fairly rusty on the rim, more towards orange, tawny whatever. Pure nose, also showing evolution. This one has some aged complexity as it is mixing spiciness with meatiness and not only primary fruits. There is some slightly smoky almost like dried meat or smoked meat. Then we have some pepperiness and spiciness. The fruit feels quite ripe and quite sweet almost like a hint of confiture, like raspberry, red berry fruit. The palate has medium weight, still with a tannic grip. It is not dominated by fruit really it is more on the meaty spicy side, with that sweet slightly dried fruit now. With some notes of prune, dried berries. Still with a high acidity. There is not really a lot of oak noticeable there are some roasted smoky notes, but that might come from more evolution or ageing in bottle as I expect this has a few years to it. Quite long finish. An example I would say is ready to drink now as it has a certain evolution. Yeah, I would say drink now. I don’t think this one will gain a lot more from further aging.

Tasted by the Best Sommelier of the World, Andreas Larsson.
