Doña Paula – Los Indios Parcel 2011 – Mendoza

Very inky colour, opaque core, blue-purple. Pure nose. Quite intense, with floral hints, violet, dark fruit, like really ripe blackberry and dark plum. With a slight spiciness, lightly crisp. Medium weight on the palate. Youthful, but quite polished tannin. With layers of that dark purple fruit, sweet blackberry, sweet plum. No noticeable oak. So a quite rounded and subtle in terms of texture. With attractive dark fruit and a medium towards long finish.
