Medium deep colour, quite youthful with a slightly ruby-purple tinge. Pure nose, youthful with primary fruit here. Combining red and dark fruits, such as plum with red berries. Not really any oakiness to talk about. Slight hint of vanilla and mild spices. Quite attractive fruit on the palate. A bit more than medium weight. Rather round and bold in texture. There is a fine backbone of quite a grainy tannin. Good degree of acidity as well, despite being a quite rich ripe and rounded example. Juicy dark fruit, quite long aftertaste. Good drinkability today with a potential of development in the coming two to three years.
