Very clear, bright, medium-deep straw colour. Beautiful purity on the nose here. More of with an emphasis on stoniness and minerality. Quite restrained fruit, such as lime, lemon, barely ripe stone fruit, pear and a slight herbal component. Wonderful bite on the palate. This is still a very youthful wine. Still I don’t think we can speak about any charm, however, it has that great core of freshness, minerality and length. I would put it within the medium body frame, but really bone-dry with a positively austere structure. Barely ripe stone fruit. Very long and lingering finish. An elegant wine that should certainly develop over the course of 10, 15 years. Good bite and freshness. Really combining that purity and stoniness of Riesling. Flirting with that slightly more exuberant fruit. It will need time to relieve its full potential. But for its purity and freshness today it is bloody delicious.

Tasted by the Best Sommelier of the World, Andreas Larsson.
