Quite intense colour here, ruby red core, still with a youthful appearance, some purple hints. Nice purity of fruit on the nose, clearly cassis, red currants; some herbal notes, mint. Palate is showing medium weight with quite high extract; still pronounced tannin, with juicy ripe red and black currant fruit. Balanced acidity. There’s not so much oak noticeable on the palate; it starts out with that slightly dry tannic sensation, but it’s a bit softer on the finish with that juicy red and black currant fruit, with some herbal notes and a medium towards long finish.
