Domaine Pujol – La Mitre de l’Evêque 2014 – Minervois

Young dark ruby colour with a purple hue. The nose is intense and attractive with a fine toastiness, some new oak, smoked meat, dark berries, tobacco and spices. The palate has a dense structure with fine tannin, still young but balanced, nicely layered dark fruit with peppery notes. Long, fleshy and dense finish, very nice and promising.
