Deep golden, with a slightly light amber core. Quite discreet at first, on the nose, starting out with some notes of vanilla, orange peel, some brown sugar, and quite fine wood. Good gripe on the palate. Still, I would say, rather youthful in terms of development there. There is some complexity there, but I am still much more on that youthful, candied fruit, chocolate, with some of those nutty notes are starting to emerge like hazelnut and almond. Nice bite on the finish, quite long. It is a warm style, but I feel that the alcohol is pretty well integrated as well, so I would happily drink it.

Tasted by the Best Sommelier of the World, Andreas Larsson.
