Youthful appearance here, slightly blue-purple, medium-high intensity looking youthful. Fresh nose, some floral components there, violet. Rather on the dark fruity side with hints of red and blackcurrant, with a slight herbal spiciness, some grassy notes. Fine palate, classically dry, youthful with pronounced tannin. However, nothing hard or harsh. Just a bit of that youth is shining through. Nice freshness, high acidity giving a lift to that dark those blackcurrant notes, red currants. With a slightly herbal spiciness, some notes of bouquet garni, and a slight pepperiness. I pick up no oak on the taste. Fresh and digest, with a medium weight. Quite long finish. It keeps lingering for a while. Really bright and juicy dark fruit. Still appearing a bit young. I would give it another one to two years to round off that tannic sensation. None the less a nicely balanced example with vibrant fresh fruit.

Tasted by the Best Sommelier of the World, Andreas Larsson.
