Deep red colour, very dark centre, with some hints of blue and purple. Youthful nose, some new oak there, ripe dark fruit, vanilla, dark plum, crushed dark berries. Palate is quite full, it has a good core of dark fruit, crushed dark berries, but it has a rather loose structure in terms of tannin, they’re already well integrated. We have some roasted oak on the palate as well. Spicy notes, modern, clean dark fruit. Medium towards long finish, rather juicy, soft, and supple style. The only thing I would like to wait for would be for the oak to integrate a bit more, otherwise it’s a nice, modern example of Southern French ripe fruit.

Tasted by the Best Sommelier of the World, Andreas Larsson.
