Intense dark purple core. Layered nose with a fine spiciness, black pepper, some meaty notes and ripe dark fruit like blackberry, plum and cassis with fine oak underneath. The palate is dense and concentrated with fine proportions, ripe tannin, a fresh acidity, peppery dark fruit and a long meaty finish with some garrigue notes. Well-made indeed.
