Dense dark purple core. Youthful nose, some balsamic hints, leather (brett), pepper, dark plum and kirsch. The palate is broad and ample with a youthful texture, still a tannic bite with young dark fruit, crushed plum, some leathery notes, dry spices and pepper with a rather long but slightly restrained finish. A wine needing time to soften and open.
