Inky dark purple colour. Intense nose, ripe dark fruit, floral hints, blackberry and cassis with smoked meat and spicy notes of clove and aniseed. The palate is dense with good weight and volume, concentrated but moderate extraction, grainy tannin, layers of dark fruit paired with cocoa bean and fine spices, long, voluptuous and lingering finish. Already appealing but should develop tremendously well.
