Medium deep ruby-red, still with a youthful purple hue. Quite young on the nose. Rather discreet fruit at first. Combining red and dark berries. So a slight hint of oakiness. Slight hint of leather and a dash of earthiness. It needs some time to open up obviously and a dash of earthiness. It needs some time to open up obviously. Youthful on the palate as well. I would say slightly above the medium weight. Good density of fruit here. Quite rich in extract as well. It appears not really harsh or dry, so tannins are starting to integrate. There is a good level of freshness. Plenty of attractive berry fruit with a good freshness. Mild spiciness in the shape of white pepper and vanilla on the finish. Which is medium towards long. A wine that is fairly approachable today but will easily continue to develop over the coming seven to eight years or so.

Tasted by the Best Sommelier of the World, Andreas Larsson.
