Red wine with a ruby-red core; it’s pretty light on the rim, it seems it has lost some colour, having a certain age. Quite fine nose here, classic elegance here with dark fruit, leather, a slight hint of oak, some vanilla and mild spices. Quite elegant here in terms of texture; I would say it has reached a good level of maturity, I think the tannins are perfectly integrated here, we have a rather dense core of fruit, a combination of dark and red berries with cassis, red currant, plum. No green is here but rather mild spices like clove, vanilla. Fine wood as well; it’s a quite silky texture. Fine notes of tobacco, classic medium weight, no heaviness, good freshness all along, and a long clear finish. Very classic style, very stylish.

Tasted by the Best Sommelier of the World, Andreas Larsson.
