Colle Uncinano – Soviano Regale 2005 – Colli Martani

Medium to deep ruby colour with an aged orange rim. Complex and mature nose. Traditional style with long oak ageing it feels with tobacco, dried cherry, some new oak and a complex spiciness. The palate is dense and full, still a fairly tannic expression but with sweet and rounded fruit, a fresh backbone, integrated oak and a long dense finish. Well-made in a traditional style resembling Brunello Riserva.
