Very deep colour here, almost opaque at the core. Intense nose here, high ripeness; really sweet fruit here like sweet blackberry, sweet plum. Not a lot of oak, rather with this dominance of ripe fruit with some floral notes, hints of violet. Very silky palate; this is a wine that at the same time has a high concentration, high ripeness of fruit, but perfectly underlined by vibrant acidity, ripe tannins. Not a lot of oak actually, I get some slightly roasted notes, a whiff of vanilla but really with an emphasis on this beautiful fruit, ripe dark blackberries. Very long and juicy finish, good density of fruit, pure, stylish. A wine I’d happily drink already despite its youth; however, with this density and weight, it’s a wine that will develop for 5, 10, 15 more years, whatever the style of wine you like. Bloody good.

Tasted by the Best Sommelier of the World, Andreas Larsson.
