Very inky colour, really dark purple at the core, not showing a lot of evolution. Youthful on the nose as well, showing mostly young fruit, really ripe. In this case I pick up a lot of cassis, more of a notion of Cabernet-like, with cassis, aromatic herbs, like sage, bay leaf, some dark plum, and no noticeable oak. Good density on the palate here. We have a high concentration, high level of ripeness as well. And moderate extraction. I think there is not a really tannic or dry sensation in this one, quite well distributed tannin and juicy dark black currant with plum and some of those herbal spices and fine touches of bay leaf, some pepper. Good sensation of freshness on the finish, well balanced. However, a bit more present tannin on the aftertaste, but it is still a youthful wine, with a bright future. I would say after a further aeration it would be quite drinkable already today. Good length, good purity of fruit. Quite modern style, laid-back oak and attractive youthful fruit. So well balanced for that style.
