Medium deep ruby-red colour, starting to fade on the rim. Fresh nose it is showing some maturity here. Quite a mix of red and dark berries here, red currant, dark plum, also some herbal spicy notes, a little touch of leather, not a lot of oak. I would say the palate has medium weight. A quite traditional style here, with a high extract. Appearing slightly tanninc, with a firm tannic backbone. There is some herbal spiciness as well, a little hint of green pepper, herbs, red plum. A high acidity and a quite long finish. I would say it is a wine that has a certain maturity and evolution. I still think the tannic backbone is quite present and it should have a little bit more time to round off the edges.

Tasted by the Best Sommelier of the World, Andreas Larsson.
