Very youthful appearance here, dark core with a purple-blue hue. Fine nose. Intense and youthful, with notes of violet, crushed berries, plum, cassis. Very fine purity here. There is a slight hint of aromatic spiciness, like fresh mint. Mild pepperiness and well-integrated oak. Still underlined by some gently roasted flavours. Very good density on the palate. High concentration and I would say this is more about fruitiness than extract. Really abundant dark fruit. High ripeness but excellent acidity at the same time. There is a good degree of extract as well, but fine tannin. Really ripe grapes. I didn’t get a lot of oak on the nose. There is slightly more of it emerging on the palate. Very fine oak, adding a gentle spiciness of vanilla, roasted coffee bean. Really vigorous and lingering on the finish. Nice modern expression. Excellent purity of fruit. A good mineralic grip on the finish as well. Certainly a wine with a fine potential and should develop really finely.

Tasted by the Best Sommelier of the World, Andreas Larsson.
