Dark ruby red core with a lighter rim. Rather intense on the nose with toasted oak, mocha and sweet fruit, some floral notes, cassis and red berries. The palate is classically built with a tannic backbone, still a bit tight but with good density of fruit, fine wood, some approaching complexity and rather long finish.
