Very deep, very inky colour here, with a purple rim. Very young nose, but nonetheless quite attractive here, combining some roasted oak notes with dark berries, cassis, plum, some tobacco, and some smoke. This is really youthful, but it’s pretty delicious I might say. It has a quite soft extract in terms of grainy powdery tannin. Really a very dense and viscous texture, with layers of ripe fruit here; we have almost like crème de cassis, dark plum. Well-integrated wood at this early stage I would say, some hints of vanilla. Very persistent on the finish. Juicy as well, with a well-kept acidity; and as difficult as it is to judge a young wine or a young sample, I really think that this is pretty delicious already now, actually. Certainly a wine that will develop with grace and elegance.

Tasted by the Best Sommelier of the World, Andreas Larsson.
