Château Puy Galland – Cuvée Collection Grande Réserve 2015 – Francs Cotes de Bordeaux

Medium deep ruby-red colour. Youthful on the nose. Combining mostly red fruit like redcurrant, cherry. With some herbal spiciness, some bouquet garni, a touch of leather. Palate has medium weight with a quite loose texture. So rather mellow tannins. There is a slight hint of herbal spiciness as well. Some anise seed and sage. With sweet red plum and redcurrant fruit. With a touch of that herbal and anise-like spiciness. Good freshness and a medium towards long finish. A wine that appears slightly youthful, but at the same time loosely textured. It should open up quite nicely in the coming one to two years.
