Château Puy Galland – 2014 – Francs Cotes De Bordeaux

Very youthful, quite inky appearance with a purple rim. Pure nose with an emphasis on fruit, some hints of leather, a slight herbal spiciness here. Palate has quite good weight, we have a youthful tannic presence, with a dense fruitiness; it feels slightly Cabernet-like like I would say, with notes of red and black currant, some fresh herbs. Oak is not really present at this stage. Youthful acidity, good purity of fruit and a quite long finish. A wine that should develop and be accessible within the coming few years.
