Château Phelan Segur – 2012 – Saint Estèphe

Intense dark ruby red colour. Ripe dark fruit on the nose, fine oak, butterscotch and tobacco with cassis and plum. Dense palate, still youthful with high tannin, however starting to soften, no hard edges, delicious dark fruit with good density and length. Will still improve.
